CloudLoupe is made by Bc. Jiří Wasserbauer, Úlehlova 1082, 696 62 Strážnice, Czech Republic, IČO 75630257 (“we”, the data controller). We built CloudLoupe so that your data stays with you.
The app
- CloudLoupe analyses iCloud Drive locally on your Mac. File and folder names, sizes and paths are never sent anywhere.
- The app has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting service.
- When you activate a license, the app sends your license key and the name of your Mac (as set in System Settings) to Lemon Squeezy’s License API so that the activation can be counted against your license. Afterwards, when you launch the app and at most once a day, it sends the key again to check that the license is still valid. Nothing else is sent, and the app keeps working offline.
- Exports (CSV/JSON) are saved only where you choose.
Purchases
Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy, LLC), our reseller and Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy collects the details needed for payment, tax and fraud prevention (such as name, e-mail, billing country and payment details) under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, e-mail address, order and license details so that we can provide support. We do not receive your card details.
This website and e-mail
The website is hosted on Vercel and delivered through Cloudflare (DNS and network protection). It uses no cookies and no analytics. Like any web service, these providers may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and operation.
E-mails sent to [email protected] are forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to our mailbox. We use them only to answer you and keep them only as long as needed for support and accounting.
Legal basis, retention and transfers
We process order and support data to perform the contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for accounting records, to comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)). Order records are kept for as long as tax law requires (in the Czech Republic 10 years); support e-mails are deleted once the matter is closed, at the latest after 3 years. Lemon Squeezy, Vercel and Cloudflare are based in the United States; transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the EU standard contractual clauses used by these providers.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask for access to, correction or deletion of the personal data we hold about you (your order and support e-mails). Write to [email protected]. You can also lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ).
